For September 2021, we are looking to appoint a permanent main scale teacher (NQTs welcome) for our Reception class. We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to lead our pupils in their learning. We are seeking to appoint a teacher who understands the Christian distinctiveness of Church of England schools and will support and promote our Christian ethos; this does not mean you have to be a Christian yourself. Set in the peaceful rural village of Austrey our small, friendly primary school is a caring happy school with a welcoming Christian Ethos. We provide excellent facilities for learning and play for children aged between 4 and 11. Located on the outskirts of Tamworth we welcome children from surrounding villages, as well as from Tamworth itself. We are incredibly proud of our school, which is full of people who are positive, dedicated, friendly and committed to ensuring all children are both happy and successful. The position of a reception class teacher is an exciting role, and is sure to appeal to anyone who has the necessary skills and genuine desire for all children to be successful; both academically and socially.
