The IT technician will provide 1st and 2nd line support for IT and telecommunications across the multi-academy trust. This is a central position based at the new Christ Church C of E Secondary Academy; however, travel to any of the schools in the trust will be required.
Reporting to the Head of IT, the IT technician will be based at the new-build Christ Church C of E Secondary Academy which is due to open in September 2021. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a growing central IT team and be part of the installation process for new IT equipment into a new secondary school. The IT technician will also be involved in wider projects at other schools across the trust. The position is full time, 52 weeks per year with 28 days holiday and access to the local government pension scheme.
Birmingham Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust (BDMAT) was established in 2017 by Birmingham Diocesan Board of Education, which has a strong track record of providing excellent educational provision and achieving rapid school improvement across all phases.
