Lynn Clark

Lynn has significant experience as a School Leader in a three form-entry Junior School on a large council estate.  This has involved taking a school from special measures to outstanding.  Ofsted recognised that, ‘the headteacher and her team of senior and middle leaders are very effective in sustaining and further improving the high quality of teaching across the school.’ She has successfully managed her school and others through HMI monitoring visits and Ofsted Inspections.

As a Local Leader in Education (LLE) linked to a Teaching School Alliance, Lynn has worked across a range of primary schools in Solihull, Wolverhampton, Warwickshire and Birmingham.  She has mentored new Headteachers, supported Senior Leaders in RI schools and developed the roles of Middle Leaders and Subject Leaders.  Within this role she has also been involved in a range of DfE school improvement projects including: improving outcomes for pupils in Maths, raising outcomes for Disadvantaged Pupils, NQT induction and workforce remodelling.

Lynn supports colleagues to ensure accountability at all levels, which is driven by school improvement.  The impact of her leadership role is evident in the sustained standards within her own school and the raised standards, judged by Ofsted, in the schools that she has supported. However, Lynn recognises that successful schools are places that build positive teams for their communities; central to this are the hearts and minds of children, their families and staff.  Lynn is also passionate about sport in school and has led her school to Gold School Games Award; her school also received a recommendation for the quality of the audit Sports Premium Grant.
